Public Speaking & Ergonomics

Dr. Earnst visits corporate health and wellness fairs to answer questions about chiropractic, and has done ergonomic evaluations for local office workers.

Dr. Earnst comes to your wellness fair

Plenty of questions about chiropractic care never get asked in an exam room. People wonder what an adjustment actually does, whether it hurts, and when it makes sense to see someone at all. A corporate health and wellness fair is a good place to ask, and Dr. Earnst will come to yours to answer them.

Call our office to schedule Dr. Earnst to visit your Corporate Health & Wellness Fair to answer questions about chiropractic care. He talks with people at the table, one conversation at a time, in plain language and without a sales pitch.

A teacher who is used to a full room

Dr. Earnst taught Anatomy & Physiology lecture and lab at Guilford Technical Community College on the Jamestown campus for more than 15 years, so explaining the body to a room is familiar ground. One patient who sat in his biology class years ago wrote that he is as great a chiropractor as he was a teacher.

That shows up at a fair. He can describe how the spine, the neck and the shoulders work together without leaning on jargon, and he is happy to be interrupted by questions from your team.

Ergonomic evaluations for office workers

Dr. Earnst has also supported local businesses with ergonomic evaluations for office workers. An evaluation looks at how a person sits and works through the day: where the screen sits against the eyes, how the chair supports the lower back, how far the keyboard and mouse sit from the body, and how often anyone gets up to move.

Small changes to a desk setup are often the easiest part of keeping a back or neck from complaining at the end of a shift. If someone on your team is already hurting, the same visit gives them a chance to ask whether an exam at the clinic would help.

How to arrange a visit

Call the office at (336) 434-4600 and tell us about your event or your workplace. We are open Monday to Thursday, 9 to 1 and 3 to 6, at 231 Baker Road in High Point, between South High Point and Archdale. Look for the blue house.

If you would rather start with your own spine, Dr. Earnst also provides posture and spinal screenings at community events and places of employment, and new patients can book a consultation, spinal exam and first treatment for $75.
