Corrective Exercises and Stretches

Blueprint exercises designed for your own problem, taught in the office and done at home, so the work keeps going between visits.

Why correction needs help between visits

An adjustment happens in minutes. The rest of the week, your spine is at your desk, in your car and in your bed, and those hours add up to far more than the time you spend on the table.

That is why Dr. Tyler Earnst teaches exercises and stretches at his High Point clinic. They give your body something to do in the hours he is not there to help.

One patient wrote on Google that in a single visit Dr. Earnst explained the issue, made adjustments and gave her a regimen of stretches to continue recovery on her own. That is the pattern.

Your blueprint: exercises designed just for you

The clinic calls them “blueprint” exercises because they are drawn up for your own unique problem, not copied from a handout that fits everybody. A tight neck and a disc-related low back get different work.

Dr. Earnst taught Anatomy & Physiology lecture and lab for years, so he is used to showing a room how a joint moves and why a muscle matters. He brings that to the exam room and explains what each exercise is for.

You practice in the office first, so he can see that you are doing the movement the way it is meant to be done before you take it home.

Doing the work at home, and what to bring back

The exercises are meant to be done in the comfort of your own home, so the work fits into your own day and your own space.

At your next visit at 231 Baker Road, tell Dr. Earnst which movements were hard, which ones hurt and which ones you skipped. That feedback is how the blueprint gets adjusted as you get better.

New patients can book the consultation, spinal exam and first treatment for $75 by calling (336) 434-4600. Ask about exercises when you come in.
